Villa I Pini

Villa I Pini Between Florence and Fiesole

Villa I Pini In Florence Located Near Firenze and Fiesole in Tuscany is owned by a prominent American family with long roots in Italy. I Pini has been the vacation rental choice for celebrities, American officials and folks like you and me that do not make headlines (thank God) but are important people none the less.

If a stay close to Florence, yet in the countryside is your desire, then I Pini is your destination that offers the best of both worlds. With a private, inground nightlit pool and AC, along with comforts that an upscale American would want, I Pini is just the ticket. Couple that with great views, loads of rosemary and over 50 rose bushes planted in 2005 and you have fragrance along with everything else. Enough for the Casa Bell’arte folks to come sniffing around for a photo op.

The owners stay at Villa I Pini every month of May and August, and catch a week here and there when available. As a result I Pini is kept up meticulously and outfitted with all the modern amenities one seeks in this day and age.

Perfect for: family and couples.

The Details:

Ground floor: I Pini has two floors and two large terraces. One is covered and has views of Fiesole, the other terrace is not covered but also with views of Fiesole, and a perfect place for dining al fresco. The interior is decorated and furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs, antique tables and Tuscan elements. Not as spare as you may find in a Tuscan's home but Italian none the less.

Ground floor: Living room, a dining room (table for 8), kitchen (with microwave, gas oven, pizza oven and more), powder room and a private suite that has a sitting room, double bed and full bathroom with enormous shower (particularly suited for handicap accessibility). That room is normally blocked off and the rooms on the first floor are for sleeping.

First floor: Piano room, bedroom with king size bed, a twin bedroom and a full bedroom (sleeps 1 nicely and 2 in a tight fashion) and two full bathrooms: one is with shower and the other an enormous affair with jacuzzi and shower. Laundry room on this floor equipped with washer and dryer (and that is unusual in Italy).

Cooking class is possible here. Horse back riding can also be arranged. The owner is tight with the equestrian club of Florence. A tabbachi down the Bolognese road has Tabacchi type stuff. The owner suggest Olio Pane is a good restaurant located at the base of Bolgnese.

PLEASE NOTE: The apartment on the otherside of the rental (separate entrance) is permanentally occupied.

A Little on the Region
What could we possibly say about Florence that hasn't been said before? What could we add to the volumes and volumes and volumes of books, articles, blogs, zines, and word of mouth that has been passed down through the centuries, beginning in...say...1300's.... about Florence?
"Nothing?"
Bravo dear reader. That's right. Nothing!
