Saggio con Rigatoni
You can't beat this recipe - simple, tasty and elegant. Whether in
a villa well stocked or minimal, sage with rigatoni is a snap to
prepare. This recipe serves 2 hungry adults.
Ingredients
- 1 - 2 Tablespoons of Butter
- 15 Fresh Sage Leaves
- Rigatoni
- Parmagiana Reggiano
Directions
While cooking your rigatoni, melt butter in a tall pan and
place the sages leaves whole in the butter and cook until well
done - not over cooked, not sizzled to death. After having cooked
your rigatoni al dente drain - but set aside some of the
water from the boil, a cup or so. Mix the rigatoni in the pan of
sage add pasta water for consistency and ground parm cheese.
That's it. It tastes great and goes very well with a Pinot Grigio
or an EST! EST! EST! Buon apettito.
