Kennebunkport Pasta

Have you been to Kennebunkport, Maine? It is a sweet Maine coastal village with lovely coves, old New England style houses and habits, and the best lobster in the world. It's true. My Aunt Marjorie died this year (2003), and she most of her life in Kennebunkport. So on a trip there to pay last respects to her sweet heart, I came across this lovely recipe for you pasta lovers out there.

Ingredients for 2 large servings

• 6 tablespoons Olive oil
• 1/2 cup coarse spicy sausage
• 1 cup of cooked lobster meat
• 1 cup peas (fresh or fully thawed)
• 1/2 pound of fettucini
• Sea salt and pepper flakes to taste

Directions

• Using 2 of the tablespoons of the oil, brown the sausage, add the peas and lobster until warm and then mix in the cooked pasta (al dente dear student!), and mix it around. Two pots for this one and tasty too. Add the rest of the oil and season as you wish.
