Making a Villa Reservation
How To Make A Reservation
It's quite easy. First - email us from your reservations page (or call us at 877-561-1913), the property you wish to hold. We will call or email you, confirm availability and putting it on hold for you, send you a reservation invoice form which you must complete and FAX back to us.
- On this invoice will be instructions to wire your payment or send via check to our office account. - We require a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation. If you are wiring, please tell us when the wire has been made so that we can check the receipt. - Sorry we do not take credit cards at this time.
- We will send you a note when in receipt of the wire.
- Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival, and at that time we will send you the arrival documents along with many other things.
What Is The Payment Schedule
To confirm your property, a 50% deposit is required.
50% is again due 90 days prior to your arrival date. We will remnind you, but you may wish to pencil that into your calendar.
Balance of the final 50% is due 65 days prior to your arrival date. You may wish to pay more at any time. Sorry, you can not pay less than that required above. Failure to pay on time can render your reservation cancelled and there is no refund for failure to pay balance due.
Cancellation
We recognize that sometimes that after making our plans, life takes us in another direction. "We make plans and the Gods laugh," they say. We have an official cancellation policy that is in effect (see below) from the moment you wire a payment, but unlike other companies out there, we will try to work with you to make your vacation come true. It depends on the circumstance and the final say of the owner. Cancellations do not happen often, and we recognize that. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you take cancellation insurance for your vacation. We recommend the following reputable third parties:
CSA for our USA guests.
Travel-Ex for our Canadian guests
Travel-Ex for our UK & Continental guests.
Cancellation Fees
Our cancellation fees* are as follows:
30% cancellation fee applied to the total cost from the moment we receive money, to 90 days prior to arrival date.
50% cancellation fee applied to the total cost from 89 - 60 days prior to arrival date.
100% cancellation fee applied to the total cost from 60 days prior to arrival date.
*Some owners may have cancellation fees that differ from ours, and thus we are bound to abide by those cancellation fees. Guests will know at the time of reservations if the fees differ.
Are Prices In Euro?
Yes prices are in euro, and all payments will be in the equivalent based on the spot rate as provided by xe.com on the date of payment. Example: the payment is 1000 euro, the rate for USD on that day (xe.com) is 1.35 USD to 1 Euro. The amount wired would be 1350 USD.
When Are Directions Provided?
Upon final payment, we will provide via post or email an arrival voucher with instructions and directions for a safe arrival.
Do We Get The Keys Here?
No, you will meet the owner or caretaker on arrival, usually between 3 - 6 pm the day of your check in. They will have the keys. All is well defined in the arrival docs you receive.
What About The Additional Fees...security deposit, utilities etc?
All these deposits and fees, beyond that of the weekly fee for the rental, are paid locally IN CASH to the owner/caretaker. If a security deposit exceeds 500 euro, it is possible for us to hold that amount in account for the owner. Checks only, no credit cards processed.
