A Little on the Area
Milan is like a mosaic of ten tiles, ten stories that describe the Milanese spirit. What are the reasons to be here? Here you can delve into a multiplicity of experiences: the capacity for innovation, entrepreneurship coupled with the dynamism of a city that never stands still, the talent for cultivating knowledge and the flair for creativity. It's a place of beautiful people, substantial cultural diversity by Italian standards and some impressive wealth from the industrious north. The Lombard capital is synonymous with passion, fashion, affectation and decidedly northern.

Milan is a city that offers enjoyment at all times of the day and the night. Starting in the morning, enjoy a frothy cappuccino with cocoa powder (please don't order a cappuccino after 11 am, thank you) then perhaps a stroll for window shopping throughout the city centre. In the same area, many art galleries display the latest avant-garde creations by famous or new artists. Many bars offer handy menus for all tastes, from the sophisticated in the Galleria, right through to the trendy Bar Bianco in Parco Sempione. In the evening, of course there is the happy hour, a very Milanese ritual. The evening comes to life with the spotlights of the stage and entertainment. Theaters open their doors: opera at La Scala, stand-up comedy at Zelig, modern productions at Teatro Arcimboldi, and so forth. For dinner, choice is equally extensive, ranging from a classic dinner at Savini, or at a creative cuisine establishment. For visitors who still have energy, there are hundreds of venues for dancing, chatting, and leaving the events of the day behind. Need some ideas? Allora....
