Casa Diana (Villa Diana) Menaggio Lago di Como

Villa Diana Located Near Menaggio Lake Como

Casa Diana Located Near Menaggio Lago di Como, Villa Diana Lombardy, Lake Como. Villa Diana, with its spacious and brightly decorated interior and really wonderful views is the ideal holiday home for large groups or families. Great location and wonderful size. It consists on two floors each of 300 sqm (that's about 3000 square feet) is a classic villa living in a modern world. Amenities, comfort and style blend with the upper end of Italy's merchant class, circa 1800's. These folks liked to vacation in style, and that my friend, is the reason why you will love this place. Behind casa Diana is the Museum of the ancient boats of the lakes, on its left is a small boat yard, on its right is the beach, while the statal road (lake ring road) is behind the museum.

A village (all shops) is about 600 meters from the property.

Perfect for: families and groups.

The Details:

At the ground floor: a living room with 3 comfortable sofas, TV sat and DVD and the Internet corner (no fast ADSL line, only the regular one). The wall facing the lake has large French doors opening to the spacious panoramic terrace (350 sqm). This floor features a fully appointed kitchen and a large dining room with table for 12 people.

Upstairs There are 5 double bedrooms, each with bathroom. Two of the rooms (the blue and the green bedrooms) have an adjoining single bedroom. While the light green double bedroom has direct access to a balcony with outside table and chairs.

Outside: The property (2500 sqm) is just on the shore of the lake, few meters from the beach (public beach). In the large terrace (45 meters x 8 meters) is placed the above ground pool (5x3 meters). Behind the house there is a parking area where 6 cars can easily be parked.

A pedestrian path runs along the shore between the lake and the property, and all lake fronts and beaches are public in Italy. For this reason privacy on the terrace could be limited specially during July and August. We're not talking thousands. The lakefront has public access. This is not an isolated property.
