Italy is a place of many things...food, wine, friendly traditions and of course fashion. And from the corridors of haute design in Milan comes this fashion designer's personal refuge in the Tuscan countryside. Used for time away from the northern hustle and by his company as a place where important clients come to the charm of the countryside, House of Fashion is a place of beauty, style and above all relaxation in the countryside. A place of amazing privacy among wild rose bushes, Italian cypress trees, lush olive groves along with the perfume of jasmine and citrus are all part of the stage set and make this a perfect spot for vacation in the Tuscan sun, sipping some Chianti wine while enjoying some long deserved time. What Guests Have To Say
The villa was spectacular in just about every single way.
Superb. We loved all the side trips that are possible from this destination.
Perfect in every way.
They were very gracious. I was sorry that there was miscommunication about the number of guests and our arrival time. So, our friends got the red carpet treatment, and he was surprised about the arrival times. All worked out well, though. Mr. Baldaserre was very kind, stopped to say goodbye, called to make sure our friends sick child was okay, etc.
Local Resuarants:
We enjoyed those that the owner recommended.

The beds were fine but the pillow were a little hard. The rest of the house was very comfortable and had all the amenities and supplies (serving dishes, wine glasses, etc) that we needed.
Perfect. 30 min from Siena, 1 hour from Florence
Spectacular
Very nice and responsive.
We so loved our stay at this property and would return and highly recommend it to others.

This property is close to the Val di Chiana. It gets its name from the river Chiana, and the valley is a natural communications route between the provinces of Arezzo and Siena and up the Arno to Florence. The present-day appearance of the Val di Chiana is the result of marsh drainage and reclamation work that was started by the Romans and carried on right through to the 20th century. Leonardo da Vinci drew up a map of the area at the beginning of the 16th century, which showed that the valley was occupied by a large lake running north-south; the cities and villages in the hills on either side of the lake communicated by means of the ford at Valiano, a small village which still exists, and Siena and Firenze fought for control of it on a number of occasions. Nowadays there are just two remnants of the original large lake, the Lago di Chiusi and the very small lake at Montepulciano. Interesting, no?
