Some places make us mere mortals smitten with envy. Veneto is a much sought countryside location for those folks that have been a few times to Italy, and Asolo is one of the most prized stone villages of the regions. This is the place of the famed Palladio Villas, lovely streams and canals that I have nbeen told can connect you eventually to the Grand Canal. It is with this backdrop we salivate over this beauty - Villa Asolina.

This delightful new property stretches over 12 acres. Benefiting from its elevated situation on the top of the hill, Asolina was meant to take full advantage of the exceptional panoramic views. Night time views of sparkle below will be difficult to leave after a week or two. The villa is a five minute drive/20 min walk from the center of the Asolo. And the villa is a wonderful classic Italian combination of traditional taste and stylish modern comfort. This newly restored property has 3 en-suite double bedrooms (beds 160x200) and it is ideal for 3 couples, providing them comfort and space. The bathrooms are all large and equipped with the latest technologies. Please note that, although the beds feature a one-frame bed, they have 2 mattresses and can be split into twins, fitted with single linens. The house and grounds are attended by a gardener. The caretaker can organize light lunches. Dinners can be arranged too with her and paid directly. A maid for housekeeping is on hand 2 hrs x day Monday to Saturday. Linens are changed Saturday and Wednesday. Decorated, with a stylish comfortable, appeal, and equipped to a high standard Asolina is a perfect choice for those seeking peace and seclusion, but with very easy access to the village. Simply not to be missed!

The Details:

Villa Asolina features: The villa is 300 m2 (that about 3000 square feet) and develops over three levels.

Ground floor: The front door leads into a large open-plan lounge/dining area. The large inviting living room has a working fireplace, comfortable seating, satellite TV, and a small stereo with CD player. The adjacent dining area has a square table that seats up to eight guests. The modern and spacious kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, stove, large refrigerator, oven and a beautiful ancient table. Just off the kitchen is a guest bathroom. French windows open out from the living room to the panoramic terrace and a swimming pool. The terrace furnished with lounge chairs and umbrellas provides the perfect spot to relax and to dine while enjoying great views of the valley. Outdoor lighting illuminates the property and the pool in the evening.
First floor:A staircase (16 steps) leads to the second floor where are two bedrooms. One has a double bed (180 x195) and a bathroom with shower. The other has a double bed (180x 195) and en suite bathroom with shower. Each of the bedrooms has south-facing windows towards the garden. At the same floor is the laundry room with a washing machine. Second floor: The master bedroom is at the third floor (15 steps) and has a direct access to a private terrace and to the rear upper garden. Its fabulous bath suite is appointed with a large Vicenza stone tub (1.58 x 76) and separated shower.


Services, Features, Amenities:

Amenities include heated pool, central heat, air-conditioning, ADSL high-speed Internet access, satellite TV, VCR, DVD, stereo and security system. Fireplace, Voips telephone available: guests will be provided of 50 Euro credit at arrival and will be charged of the consume at departure. On request the caretaker will charge new credit on the Voips card. There is a convenient parking for 2 cars inside the property, right at the villa's entrance.

Low Season (all other weeks): 3233 € / WEEK
Mid Season (May, June, September, Easter, Christmas and New Years): 3233 € / WEEK
High Season (July through August): 3480 € / WEEK

Additional costs to consider: Security deposit 2000 € (plus 350 € utility per week regardless of the season), final cleaning 150 €, 2 hours maid service Mon-Sat and change of linens on Wed/Sat included. Baby's bed 100 €, no extra bed and pets not allowed. Telephone metered. Internet included. Pool open May 10 - Oct 4. Pool towels included. No children between 1 - 7 years. No smoking. POOL IS NOT GATED. Late arrivals between 7 and 9 pm possible with 50 € paid locally. Comes with welcome dinner and basic house stocking.
*Reservations are always Saturday to Saturday, except for the lowest season when it is flexible. Rates are current and based on when the majority of the week is within the price range stated above. All of our rentals include linens and towels. One set per reservation unless otherwise stated. Request for change/cleaning may incur a charge.
